The Teach Me Too project is completely free to access and use. It covers a wide breadth of the early years foundation stage (EFYS) statutory framework.
Used alongside in-person support from education settings and support groups, the project provides an additional scaffold onto the key early skills our community needs for the best start in their lives.
Our experts have built the project around the learning profile of children with Down’s syndrome, but can be more beneficial to many other special educational needs and learning differences.

Children with Down’s syndrome have a specific learning profile, with their own strengths and weaknesses. Research shows that certain strategies are very effective for people with this profile, but many of our children are not benefiting from this knowledge, as many services are limited to families who can afford private support.
Early intervention and specialist teaching services are sporadic throughout the UK. Many children get little to no specialist support. We know that the right support and intervention in the early years is vital. Teach Me Too is not a replacement for high-quality, face-to-face support. However, it can help to plug the gap by delivering key early cognitive and communication skills to a generation of children.
Originally inspired by difficulties accessing resources for children with Down’s syndrome during the first lockdown, it quickly became apparent that this approach was not merely a stopgap during the Covid-19 pandemic, but a way to explore other opportunities to support more families.
Teach Me Too is dedicated to utilising innovation and technology to break down barriers to education and learning for every person with Down's syndrome, regardless of wealth, background, or postcode.
The Teach Me Too project has been under an independent evaluation since its inception. It produced some positive results and we’re happy to be able to share the reports.
